The Dipashna Story

Dipashna is all about celebrating and appreciating women. We believe that each woman is unique and so is her way of expressing herself through her style. Inspired and moulded by our own experiences, we at Dipashna curate and customize wardrobe that lets women proudly embrace and flaunt their beauty across.

We’re more than just clothes! Our first hand experiences with the society’s obsession of the ‘Perfect Female Body’ have made us proud advocates of body positivity and women empowerment. We believe in serving this community of ‘Super Humans’ aka us Women by offering a full range of sizes. Like the song goes, we firmly believe, ‘You’re perfect just the way you are!’

History

The story goes back to the mid-eighties when the founder Mrs. Renu Kirpalani, originally from Indore city, moved to Ahmedabad from Mumbai with her husband. Her style quotient garnered several followers back in the day who kept on making requests to get the same things that she wore.

That’s when with a meagre investment of Rs. 1700, she decided to test the waters and brought in samples from Indore. The stock sold out within two days. Renu realized she had a knack for identifying fashion and merchandising that works with a variety of women. The rest they say is history.

From sold out stocks at home to a 1600 sq ft store catering to a diverse clientele of Women across the community, Dipashna has come a long way. With the support of the daughters, Dipna and Aashna, body positivity advocates, the store has a loyal customer base that has become a constantly growing family.

Design

Dipashna is known for its fresh outlook in contemporary fashion - we can safely vouch for the fact that you’d find new trends here first before the designs seep in to other retail stores. We focus on trends, quality with affordability not to forget the “hands down” widest range of sizes at least in the city, available from XS to 10XL. We’re the only store in the city that offers this ‘unique package.’
